The ENBENG 2023 - 7th IEEE Portuguese Meeting on Bioengineering is back and will be held from 22-23 June 2023, in “Fundação de Serralves” and in the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), Portugal.
The IEEE EMBS Portugal Chapter has been organizing for several years the ENBENG, a biennial conference dedicated to the bioengineering & biomedical engineering scientific area. After a gap due to Covid-19, ENBENG will be back with an exciting conference program that will feature top-ranked keynote lecturers, invited sessions, oral and poster sessions, bioengineering companies engagement, and workshop sessions for students and bioengineering professionals.
This conference aims to promote bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering knowledge, raise national awareness of this field, and reinforce national cooperation between researchers, research groups, industry, and institutions working in these areas of interest.
All are encouraged to submit papers to be considered for presentation at the 7th ENBENG 2023.
Conference themes include (but are not limited to):
Biomedical Imaging and Image Processing;
Instrumentation and Biomedical Signal Processing;
Modeling Physiological Systems;
Neuroengineering and Neurosciences;

The 2023 Edition of SMACD 2023, the International Conference on Synthesis, Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Methods, and Applications to Circuit Design, will be held from 3 to 5 July 2023, at VidaMar Resort Hotel, in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal.
SMACD is a forum devoted to modeling, simulation, and synthesis for Analog, Mixed-signal, RF (AMS/RF), and multi-domain (nanoelectronics, biological, MEMS, optoelectronics, etc.) integrated circuits and systems, as well as emerging technologies and applications. Open-source tools and methods for IC design and experiences with modeling, simulation, and synthesis techniques in diverse application areas are also welcomed. Objective technologies include CMOS, beyond CMOS, and More-than-Moore such as MEMs, power devices, sensors, passives, etc.
SMACD 2023 is accepting paper submissions until February 3rd, 2023, in the following areas of interest:
1 - CAD AND EDA METHODOLOGIES AND TOOLS FOR AMS SYSTEMS (CAD/EDA):
Synthesis, Sizing and Optimization; Modeling; Simulation, Verification and Test.
2 - EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES AND APPLICATIONS (ETA):
CAD for/using Emerging Technologies; Emerging Devices and Paradigms; Hardware Security.
3 - AMS ICS AND MULTI-DOMAIN DESIGN APPLICATIONS (DES):
SMACD is technically co-sponsored by IT, IST, IEEE, IEEE CEDA, IEEE CASS and others. The conference proceedings will be published in IEEExplore.
