Luís Almeida, researcher from IT Porto, Group Networked Systems, will be the Program Chair of the 8TH International Workshop on Compositional Theory and Technology for Real-Time Embedded Systems (CRTS 2015), in December 1st, 2015.
The event is sponsored by Instituto de Telecomunicações, and will be held jointly with IEEE Real-Time Systems Symposium 2015.
"The CRTS workshop provides a forum for researchers and technologists to discuss the state-of-the-art, present their works and contributions, and set future directions in compositional technology for real-time embedded systems."
To attend this event it is mandatory to be in San Antonio, Texas, from 1st to 4th December, as it is where the event is taking place.

We discuss progress towards the development of on-chip quantum networks of multiple spin qubits in nitrogen vacancy (NV) centers in diamond. This talk will describe NV-nanocavity systems in the strong Purcell regime with optical quality factors approaching 10,000 and electron spin coherence times approaching milliseconds; implantation of NVs with nanometer-scale apertures into the cavity field maximum; hybrid on-chip networks for integration of multiple functional NV-cavity systems; and techniques for high-yield integration of superconducting nanowire single photon detectors on-chip.
