The second workshop of the Thematic Network in Mathematics in Science and Engineering – http://www.dcc.fc.up.pt/mathise/ – will take place in the Departamento de Matemática of Instituto Superior Técnico on February 10 and 11, 2011. The workshop includes a series of talks on themes lying on the intersection of mathematics, science and engineering. The main objective of the event is to promote the interaction and collaboration among researchers working in these areas.
