Instituto de Telecomunicações and ELLIS Unit Lisbon invite to the Talk “Reviving Encoder Models: Making Old New, Iterate” with Pierre Colombo, Professor at the University Paris Saclay, on April 9, 11 am, in the scope of the DECOLLAGE project.
Bio:
Pierre Colombo is an Associate Professor at Université Paris-Saclay (CentraleSupélec) and the Co-founder & Chief Science Officer at Equall.ai, a legalTech startup. His work centers on Natural Language Processing (NLP), with an emphasis on developing large language models for industrial applications. He earned his PhD in Computer Science at Télécom Paris, Institut Polytechnique de Paris, where his research focused on representing and generating text using information measures, and he received the Best Paper Award at AAAI 2022.
