Artificial Intelligence is profoundly transforming the way digital content is represented, compressed, authenticated, and used, while also introducing new challenges related to trust, authenticity, interoperability, and regulation.
This workshop will bring together leading researchers, industry experts, representatives of the European Commission, and members of the international standardization community to discuss the role of standards in building a more trustworthy and AI-ready digital content ecosystem.

Invited speakers include experts from EPFL, Fraunhofer HHI, Simon Fraser University, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Aveiro, and the European Commission.
We warmly invite students, faculty members, researchers, and all those interested in Artificial Intelligence, multimedia, signal processing, standardization, and trustworthy digital content to take part in this initiative.
Participation is free upon prior registration, with the option to attend either in person or online. On-site participants will also have the opportunity to join a networking dinner following the workshop.
This workshop is co-organized by the JPEG Committee, the Polytechnic University of Leiria, the Instituto de Telecomunicações, and the IEEE Signal Processing Society Portugal Chapter, under the IEEE Signal Processing Society Member-Driven Initiatives (MDI) Program.
