Instituto de Telecomunicações - Covilhã Branch (IT-CV) hosted, on June 22, 2026, an institutional and scientific event dedicated to showcasing the research, innovation, and collaborative activities developed within the branch.

The event took place at the University of Beira Interior (UBI) and brought together researchers, students, institutional representatives, companies, consultants, and partners involved in innovation and research funding.

This edition holds special significance as it marks the 24th anniversary, providing an opportunity to highlight the branch’s scientific and technological impact, promote knowledge sharing, and strengthen connections between academia, industry, and society.

 

The main objectives of the event included:

• Celebrating the 24th anniversary;

Throughout the day, participants had the opportunity to attend technical sessions, project presentations, technology demonstrations, networking activities, and a roundtable discussion focused on the future of research and innovation at IT-CV.
