Instituto de Telecomunicações (Interface Group), in collaboration with intellectual property experts from Inventa, will be hosting a dynamic and hybrid seminar on the protection of Computer-Implemented Inventions (CII), with a special focus on Artificial Intelligence, on February 26th, from 15h to 17h (WET), at Instituto de Telecomunicações, in Lisbon (Instituto Superior Técnico), Meeting Room 11:26 (North Tower).
The Seminar will have a hybrid format. Lisbon-based researchers are invited for a brief of 30 min. earlier for coffee and networking.
This meeting aims to spark the debate for some questions, such as:
1) Did you know that a "software patent" is considered a Computer-Implemented Invention (CII)?
2) Have a new CII and want to understand how to protect it?
3) Can Artificial Intelligence be patented?
