Study of multi-channel Ka-band SAR for moving target indication
| Acronym |
KaSAR |
| Main objective |
The objective of the study is to design a satellite-based multi-channel Ka-band SAR optimized for moving target indication either for land or ocean applications. The study shall start with a detailed analysis of multi-channel SAR processing options, and trade-off different instrument configuration/technological options. One instrument baseline shall be elaborated on the basis of end-to-end performance analysis, instrument budgets and complexity.
Besides MTI applications, the capability of multi-channel instrument for ocean current measurement shall be investigated.
