Abstract
In this paper we present the first experimental results for a multi-projection differential coil Magnetic Induction To- mography system. All current systems are static, allowing only the acquisition of a small number of fixed projections. The setup here presented allows for a much higher density of projection measurements which reduces the ill-posedness of the inverse problem. This is further enhanced through the use of a top-view camera to detect the hardest conductivity discontinuities. The experimental setup, itself, is based on a previously presented design and consists of a geometrically centered excitation and four pairs of anti-series differential coils equally spaced at 45o. We show simulation and experimental results for a set of 3D phantom structures.
