UTL/Santander Totta awards for IT reserchers again (13-12-2011)


Carlos Fernandes from IT at Lisbon was awarded the 2011 UTL-Santander prize in the area of Electrical Engineering and Fernando Pereira received an honorable mention.

The prizes awarded by Universidade Técnica de Lisboa (UTL) in collaboration with Banco Santander Totta are intended to promote publication of high standard scientific Journal papers by faculty and researchers from UTL and from related research institutes.

Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation award for IT resercher (02-12-2011)


Andreia Mordido from IT Lisbon was awarded a Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation prize under the scope of the ''Estímulo à Investigação'' 2011 initiative.

This action promotes high potential research studies in the fields of Maths, Fysics, Chemistry and Earth and Space Sciences.
