Mission:

The research in this area focuses on

(i) new architectures and techniques for the control, management and design of future networks (providing end-to-end quality of service, mobility, and security) and their performance evaluation;

(ii) new ways of storing/communicating, retrieving/accessing, processing, and presenting large volumes of multimedia data - text, still images, video, and audio – namely over heterogeneous networks.
